Hours:  M/T/TH/F 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Wed 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Lobby is now open, only one person in lobby at a time.  Community Building is available for rent with

100 person gathering limit!

Next City Council meeting is Wednesday, September 15th 7pm at City Hall.

RV Sites

Sites have water, electricity, and sewer hook ups.

Sites available by contacting City Hall.

Rates are $15.00 per day.

Community Building

Rental available by contacting City Hall - $100 deposit required plus $40 for half day rental and $60 for full day. 

Deposit is refundable if building is left in good order.

Rental increase beginning January 1, 2022.  Four hour fee will be $50,  all day fee $100, deposit remains the same.

Monthly City Newsletter

Letter is distributed with city bills.  News & updates can be

Reading City Park

Features a ball diamond, basketball court, shelter house, modern playground equipment, horseshoe pits, gazebo as well as a 9- hole disc golf course.


Recycling Trailer

Recycling trailer is parked in front of the school on two Thursdays each month.  First Thursday follows the first Monday and then two weeks later.  There are bins for newspaper, magazines, junk mail, #2  plastic,color plastic like detergent bottles,  cardboard, tin cans, milk jugs,
pop bottles, clear and colored glass containers.


Trash Pick Up

Trash is picked up every Friday morning.

Please have your trash out by 7:00 a.m.
