Reading Lions Club

        "We Serve"

Reading Lions Club is a non-political service organization that is very active in our community.  Where there is a need, there is a Lion!

Becoming a Lions Club member gives you the opportunity to volunteer.  Make new friends and connections.  Participate in projects that make  our community a better place to live.

Have fun doing it!

Projects include:  Easter Egg Hunts, Concession at city park,

Welcome Wagon, Sponsoring student to Lions Band Camp, Maintaining Soldiers Memorial at city park, Santa's visits,

and many more such community based events.

When our Lions Club gets together, problems get smaller.  We help where help is needed - making our community better.

All funds raised are used for charitable purposes, administrative costs are kept separate and paid for by members.

Reading Lions Club donated $50 in David Garrison's father name to help with this project.  We are planning to have a person from audio reader out of Lawrence come to our next meeting and talk about this program.  Anyone interested in this information is welcome to come to our meeting.
