        "We Serve"

Reading Lions Club is a non-political service organization that is very active in our community.  Where there is a need, there is a Lion!

Becoming a Lions Club member gives you the opportunity to volunteer.  Make new friends and connections.  Participate in projects that make  our community a better place to live.

Have fun doing it!

Projects include:  Easter Egg Hunts, Concession at city park,

Welcome Wagon, Sponsoring student to Lions Band Camp, Maintaining Soldiers Memorial at city park, Santa's visits,

and many more such community based events.

When our Lions Club gets together, problems get smaller.  We help where help is needed - making our community better.

All funds raised are used for charitable purposes, administrative costs are kept separate and paid for by members.

Kindness in Action

When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.
